Doctors test simple checklist to catch hidden heart failure before It's too late
NCT ID NCT06865053
Summary
This study tested a new screening method to find heart failure earlier in older adults during regular doctor visits. Researchers used a simple questionnaire, a blood test, and a heart scan to check patients 65 and older who did not already have a heart failure diagnosis. The goal was to see if this step-by-step approach could reliably identify heart failure before symptoms become severe, helping people get treatment sooner.
