Scientists hunt for heart failure clues in diabetic patients
NCT ID NCT04941794
Summary
This study aims to discover early warning signs that could predict future heart failure in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will follow 500 adults over 50 with diabetes but no known heart disease, performing yearly heart scans, blood tests, and walking tests. The goal is to identify specific markers in the blood or heart function that signal increased risk before symptoms appear.
