First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a new combination pill (polypill) that packs four heart failure medications into one tablet. The goal was to see if it helps people take their medicine more regularly compared to taking several separate pills. The study included 35 adults with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction, some of whom also had HIV. Researchers measured adherence by counting leftover pills and using questionnaires.
