Wireless heart monitor could keep LVAD patients out of hospital

NCT ID NCT07096544

Summary

This study tests whether using a wireless heart monitor (CardioMEMS) helps reduce hospital visits for people with advanced heart failure who use an LVAD pump. Researchers will compare 40 patients using the monitor against those receiving standard care to see if it leads to fewer hospital stays. The goal is to help patients manage their condition better at home and improve their quality of life.
