Can a diabetes drug protect kidneys in severe heart failure?

Summary
This study aims to understand how a drug called dapagliflozin affects the interaction between the heart and kidneys in people with very advanced heart failure who are waiting for a transplant. Researchers will measure a specific blood protein (suPAR) and other health markers over 6 months to see if the drug helps protect kidney function. The goal is to gather knowledge to better manage this complex condition, not to test a new cure.
