New scan aims to see inside failing hearts
NCT ID NCT07083011
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can detect and measure scarring in the heart muscle of people with a specific kind of heart failure (HFpEF). Researchers will compare scans from 35 people with HFpEF to scans from people with another heart condition and healthy volunteers. The goal is to learn if this scan can provide better information about the disease, which could help guide future treatments.
