Heart scan clues could predict which patients return to hospital

NCT ID NCT07439159

Summary

This study aims to see if a special heart ultrasound, done right when a patient is admitted to the hospital for worsening heart failure, can predict who is most likely to be re-hospitalized or die later. Researchers will scan 76 patients before they receive their main IV treatment and then track their health for over a year. The goal is to find specific measurements from the scan that help doctors identify high-risk patients earlier.
