New scan seeks to spot dangerous heart scarring before It's too late
NCT ID NCT07296081
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it can better detect active scar tissue (fibrosis) in the hearts of people with heart failure. Researchers will compare the new scan to the current standard MRI in 30 participants. The goal is to find a better way to monitor scarring, which could help guide future treatments aimed at reducing it.
