Could common heart pills also boost your blood and protect your kidneys?
NCT ID NCT07478575
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if a specific class of heart failure drugs (SGLT2 inhibitors) helps improve blood cell production and, in turn, benefits heart and kidney health. It compares 85 patients who took these drugs to similar patients who did not, tracking changes over one year. The goal is to understand if these medications offer benefits beyond their known effects on the heart.
