Breathing muscle pacing tested to boost failing hearts

NCT ID NCT07392749

Summary

This study is testing a new idea to help people with heart failure. Researchers want to see if gently pacing the main breathing muscle (the diaphragm) can improve how well the heart pumps. They will test this in 10 patients who are already scheduled to get a special heart device, and check the results one week later.
