First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether alerts in the electronic health record could help pharmacists reach out to heart failure patients who were not taking their medications as prescribed. Only 3 pharmacists took part. The goal was to see if the system was practical and useful, not to measure health outcomes.
