New pill aims to ease heart failure Patients' urgent bathroom trips

NCT ID NCT06206512

Summary

This study tested if a new, longer-acting version of a common water pill (torsemide) could better control overactive bladder symptoms like frequent and urgent urination in people with chronic heart failure. It compared this extended-release version against the standard, immediate-release pill over two 4-week periods in 24 participants. The main goal was to see if the new version improved patients' quality of life related to their bladder symptoms.
