Scientists probe hidden heart risks in breast cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT05309655
Summary
This study aims to understand how a breast cancer treatment that nearly eliminates estrogen affects the heart. Researchers will compare heart function in 90 premenopausal women receiving this therapy to those receiving other treatments, using heart scans over two years. The goal is to learn if this treatment changes how the heart works and identify which patients might be at higher risk.
