Heart drug showdown: which single pill works best after stents?

NCT ID NCT06691191

Summary

This study compares two blood-thinning medications (prasugrel and ticagrelor) when used alone in patients with coronary artery disease who have had a stent placed. Researchers want to see if one drug works as well as the other at preventing dangerous blood clots while potentially reducing bleeding risks. The study involves 48 participants who are at least 90 days past their stent procedure.
