Summary
This study aimed to understand how a heart failure drug called Entresto (ARNI/LCZ 696) affects the body's kidney and hormone responses to a saltwater fluid challenge. It involved 72 people with type 2 diabetes, some with and some without very early signs of heart stiffness. The main goal was to gather detailed physiological knowledge to see if this drug could help prevent progression to full heart failure.
