Doctors test new heart scan to predict Who's at risk
NCT ID NCT06822894
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of ultrasound measurement taken inside the heart's arteries can help predict which patients with coronary artery disease might have serious heart problems within a year. Researchers will enroll 494 patients who have blockages in all three main heart arteries and follow them for one year after their ultrasound scan. The goal is to see if this measurement can help doctors better understand which patients need closer monitoring or different treatment approaches.
