First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether telling people they have a high genetic risk for heart disease helps them improve their heart health over one year. About 200 adults aged 40 to 75 who have a high genetic risk but no current heart disease will take part. Half will learn their genetic risk and get standard care, while the other half only gets standard care. Researchers will compare changes in heart health scores between the two groups.
