Scientists probe genetic secrets of heart health
NCT ID NCT04931498
Summary
This study aims to understand how two specific genes (SWAP70 and GMPR) influence a person's risk of developing heart disease. Researchers will invite 100 healthy volunteers who have already had their genes analyzed to attend a single visit for blood tests and health measurements. The goal is to learn more about the basic biology of heart disease, which could help identify future drug targets.
