Frequent check-ups aim to slash cholesterol and heart attack risk

Summary

This study is testing if more frequent monitoring and quicker adjustments to cholesterol-lowering medication can help heart disease patients reach their treatment goals. It will enroll 1,000 adults with heart disease to see if this approach lowers 'bad' cholesterol more effectively than standard care. The goal is to better control cholesterol to reduce the risk of future heart attacks and strokes.
