New hope for young cancer Survivors' hearts
NCT ID NCT05194111
Summary
This study is testing if a heart medication called sacubitril/valsartan is safe and practical to use in young adult cancer survivors who have early signs of heart damage from their past cancer treatments. It will involve about 53 participants who had cancer before age 40 and now have silent heart dysfunction but no symptoms. The main goal is to see if people can be recruited for this type of trial and if they can tolerate the medication well.
