Race to find safer treatment for deadly heart clots

Summary
This study compares two types of blood thinners for treating dangerous blood clots inside the heart. It tests whether newer, easier-to-use medications (DOACs) work as well or better than the older standard (warfarin) at dissolving clots and preventing strokes or death. The trial involves 340 patients with heart clots from various causes, excluding those with mechanical heart devices.
