The hidden heart problem: researchers probe mystery chest pain

NCT ID NCT05288361

Summary

This study aims to better understand why some people experience chest pain and signs of reduced blood flow to the heart, even though their main heart arteries look clear on standard tests. Researchers will observe 500 patients with this condition, using advanced tools during a heart catheterization to measure tiny blood vessel function and artery spasms. The goal is to identify the specific causes and track how patients' health changes over five years.
