Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common procedures is better for restoring blood flow to the heart in women with blocked arteries. It compares open-heart bypass surgery to a less invasive procedure where a small mesh tube (stent) is placed. Researchers will follow 600 women for up to 10 years to see which group has better survival and quality of life.
