Drug combo trial aims to prevent heart bypass failures
NCT ID NCT06730945
Summary
This study wanted to test whether taking two common blood pressure medications after heart bypass surgery could help keep the new artery grafts from closing up. The trial planned to compare patients taking the medications for 24 weeks against those not taking them, checking graft health with heart scans. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
