Mystery heart attacks: why healthy people get struck
NCT ID NCT05535582
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people have heart attacks even when they don't have common risk factors like smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes. Researchers will compare 1000 patients who had heart attacks, looking at their medical history, blood tests, and heart scans to find hidden clues or 'biomarkers' that might explain their risk. The goal is to help doctors better predict and prevent heart attacks in people who seem healthy.
