Could a simple scan replace invasive heart tests?
NCT ID NCT05940285
Summary
This study is testing a new type of heart scan to see if it can accurately detect remaining blockages in heart arteries after someone has had a heart attack. Researchers want to know if this non-invasive scan can work as well as the current standard test, which requires inserting a wire into the heart. The study will involve 60 adult patients who have had a recent heart attack and are found to have multiple narrowed arteries.
