Quick test could Fine-Tune heart attack meds, reduce bleeding
NCT ID NCT04654052
Summary
This study aims to find a safer way to manage blood-thinning medication for people who have had a heart attack. Researchers are testing if using a simple blood test one month after treatment can identify patients who might be over-thinned and could safely switch to a milder drug. The goal is to reduce serious bleeding problems without increasing the risk of another heart attack or stroke over the following year.
