Breaking up heart artery calcium: which method works best for blood flow?
NCT ID NCT06507449
Summary
This study aims to see how three different methods for treating severely hardened heart arteries affect tiny blood vessel flow. It will enroll 30 patients with coronary artery disease who need a stent. Researchers will compare lithotripsy (shockwaves), super-high pressure balloons, and orbital atherectomy (a rotating device) to see which best improves blood flow after stent placement.
