Brain injury hearing problems? new training could help you hear clearly again

NCT ID NCT06628505

Summary

This study is testing special listening exercises to help people with mild brain injuries hear better. Many people struggle to understand speech in noisy places or locate where sounds are coming from after such injuries. Researchers want to see if computer-based hearing training used at home can improve these specific hearing problems. If successful, this could become a helpful treatment option for veterans and others affected by brain injury-related hearing issues.
