NCT ID NCT06662058
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether offering hearing tests close to home or online can help more head and neck cancer patients get their hearing checked during treatment. Chemotherapy (cisplatin) and radiation can cause hearing loss, but many patients skip follow-up tests. The study will enroll 118 adults with head and neck cancer who are getting cisplatin or radiation, and compare how many complete a hearing test after treatment when given easier access.
