Summary
This study looked at 156 children with hearing loss and their caregivers to see how much they knew about what caused the hearing loss. Both groups filled out questionnaires about the type and cause of the hearing loss and whether knowing the cause mattered to them. The goal is to help doctors and clinics better explain the reasons behind hearing loss to families.
