Hearing aids offer hope for Chemotherapy-Induced hearing loss

Summary

This study looks at whether hearing aids can improve the quality of life for cancer patients who develop hearing problems from platinum-based chemotherapy. About 52 adults currently receiving such chemotherapy and experiencing hearing loss will be offered a hearing aid. Researchers will measure changes in quality of life, hearing ability, and tinnitus over time.
