Can hearing aids ease the mental strain of listening?
NCT ID NCT06951815
Summary
This study tested whether using hearing aids makes communication easier and less tiring for older adults with hearing loss. Researchers compared 60 people who received hearing aids to a group who got hearing education instead. They measured listening effort, mental fatigue, and sleep to see if hearing aids help and how a person's thinking skills might affect the results.
