Hearing aids offer hope for chemotherapy ear damage

Summary

This study looks at whether hearing aids can improve the quality of life for cancer patients who have hearing loss caused by platinum-based chemotherapy. About 52 adults currently receiving this type of chemotherapy and experiencing hearing problems will be offered a hearing aid. Researchers will measure changes in quality of life and hearing over time.
