Summary
This study tested a program called Healthy for 2/Healthy for U, which used phone coaching and a website to help pregnant women manage their weight gain. The goal was to prevent too much weight gain during pregnancy, reduce the risk of gestational diabetes, and prevent obesity in both mothers and children. The study included 534 pregnant women with a BMI of 25 or higher who were less than 15 weeks pregnant. Participants received coaching calls and used a mobile app to track their health habits.
