NCT ID NCT06427096
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether teaching families about healthy eating, low-salt diets, weight management, exercise, and blood pressure monitoring could lower blood pressure across entire villages. Over 8,000 adults from 80 villages in China took part. Half the villages received the program led by community health instructors, while the other half continued with usual care. The main goal was to see if systolic blood pressure dropped more in the program villages after 6 months.
