Can simple guides help men make better cancer decisions?
NCT ID NCT03322891
Summary
This study is testing whether easy-to-understand educational materials can help newly diagnosed African American prostate cancer patients better comprehend their treatment options and potential side effects. Researchers will interview 210 patients to see if these materials reduce confusion and improve decision-making compared to standard doctor visits alone. The goal is to understand how to improve communication between doctors and patients facing cancer treatment choices.
