Summary
This small study tested a specially designed video game called Hometown Bound to see if it could improve memory and thinking in people with mild cognitive impairment after cancer treatment or an ICU stay. Nine adults played the game three times a week for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in memory, verbal fluency, and attention using standard tests. The study was completed, but results are not yet reported.
