Phone coaching aims to ease the load for transplant caregivers

Summary

This study tests whether phone-based health and wellness coaching can reduce the burden and boost the confidence of people caring for a loved one awaiting a heart or lung transplant. About 30 caregivers will receive coaching sessions and complete questionnaires about their stress and self-confidence. The goal is to see if this kind of support can improve their wellbeing during a very challenging time.
