Summary

This large study is testing two ideas to improve treatment for certain head and neck cancers. It will see if using a smaller, more precise radiation area and/or adding a drug called ATRA (a form of vitamin A) works better than standard radiation alone. The goal is to better control the cancer, prevent it from returning, and improve survival rates for 460 participants.
