Could a gentle zap boost cancer drugs before surgery?

NCT ID NCT06804850

Summary

This study planned to see if adding a low dose of radiation to a combination of targeted and immunotherapy drugs works better than the drugs alone when given before surgery for head and neck cancer. The goal was to shrink tumors more effectively to improve surgical outcomes and long-term control of the disease. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
