New Two-Drug attack on tough head and neck cancers

Summary
This study is testing if adding a new drug called ipatasertib to a standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) works better for controlling advanced head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. It will involve about 52 adults who have not yet received treatment for their advanced cancer. The main goal is to see if the drug combination can keep the cancer from growing for a longer time compared to the standard treatment alone.
