New drug combo tested to fight tough head and neck cancers

Summary

This study is testing a combination of three cancer drugs (cisplatin, nab-paclitaxel, and cetuximab, called CACTUX) for people with incurable head and neck cancer that has spread or returned. The main goal is to see if this combination can help control the cancer for a longer time without it getting worse, while also tracking side effects and quality of life. It is for adults whose cancer cannot be cured by surgery or radiation.
