Scientists hunt for clues when cancer fights back against radiation
NCT ID NCT04671940
Summary
This study aims to understand why head and neck cancers sometimes come back after a patient has received radiation treatment. Researchers will analyze tumor samples from before and after radiation to see how the cancer cells change and become resistant. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors choose better treatments in the future for patients whose cancer returns.
