Scientists hunt for clues in blood and scans to predict Cancer's next move
NCT ID NCT03491176
Summary
This study aims to learn if taking extra MRI scans and blood tests during radiation treatment can help doctors predict how a head and neck tumor will change. Researchers will track tumor size and look for biomarkers in the blood of about 80 cancer patients and 20 healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather information to improve future treatments, not to directly treat participants in this study.
