New hope for Tough-to-Treat head and neck cancer: trial tests chemo timing
NCT ID NCT07419464
Summary
This study aims to find the better way to give a chemotherapy drug called 5-FU to people with advanced head and neck cancer that has worsened after two standard treatments. It will compare giving the drug for two days every two weeks versus four days every three weeks. The main goal is to see which schedule is more effective at shrinking tumors and has fewer side effects for these patients who have limited treatment options.
