Gene secrets of head and neck tumors could predict who gets better

NCT ID NCT00200486

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at the genetic makeup of head and neck tumors from 1000 people to find clues about which treatments work best and why some tumors come back. Researchers will analyze tumor tissue from biopsies or surgeries. The goal is to better understand how genes affect prognosis and response to therapy, not to test a new treatment.
