First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether sending mailed invitations and providing patient navigators (guides) can increase attendance at liver cancer (HCC) ultrasound screening appointments. About 652 adults with liver cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B are split into two groups: one gets the extra support, the other receives usual care. The goal is to see if these simple steps lead to more early-stage cancer diagnoses and better outcomes.
