New program aims to close liver cancer care gap for black patients

Summary
This study is testing a new support program designed to help Black patients with early-stage liver cancer get faster access to potentially curative treatments like surgery or transplant. The program provides education, helps with social needs, and connects patients to cancer specialists. Researchers will follow 40 patients for 6 months to see if the program reduces racial disparities in care.
