NCT ID NCT02828592
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a bone marrow transplant from a half-matched (haploidentical) donor for people with severe aplastic anemia, a rare condition where the bone marrow fails to make enough blood cells. The goal is to see if this approach can safely restore normal blood cell production without the need for lifelong medication. Participants receive a donor transplant followed by a drug to reduce the risk of graft-versus-host disease.
